After some difficult months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are happy to report that we are back on track with the experiments!

Last week we achieved an important milestone, reaching 25 dyads of parent-child that have visited our pupillometry lab at the UNED in Madrid. During their visit, both the parent and the child carry out real-effort tasks while a pupillometer measures their eye pupils. In this way, we can measure cognitive effort very precisely and  examine its transmission from parents to children.

We expect to  continue with the pupillometry experiments during the next months. The children seem to enjoy the experience of discovering a real scientific lab and the toys that they get as reward!
