The Carlos III-Juan March Institute of Social Sciences will hold a conference on effort and social inequality, to take place in Madrid from the 14th to the 16th of June 2023.
The conference will showcase the results of the EFFORT project, and will also provide a platform for scholars to present work on the role of effort in social inequality. Relevant research fields are education and learning, organizations and labour markets, life course and ageing, trust and cooperation, as well as social networks and environment. We welcome interdisciplinary contributions on the broad theme of “effort” and its relation to social inequality.
Confirmed speakers are Heike Solga (WZB Berlin Social Science Center), Elina Kilpi-Jakonen (University of Turku) and Kaspar Burger (University of Zurich).
The Call for Abstracts will be released in early 2023.
